REPAIR DAMAGED FENCES - 910.0 BLDG MAINTENANCE, INSTALLATION AND REPAIR SERVICES
Created by Santiago Nocito, 1-510-238-7563, snocito@oaklandca.gov To provide the City of Oakland's Housing and Community Development Department, services to repair damaged chain-link fencing, fence posts, and gates in four (4) City owned vacant lots. Repairs to these fences and gate perimeters is the first step to prevent unauthorized entry, parking, or dumping. The Housing and Community Development (HCD) Department addresses housing affordability issues through its “3P” framework: Protect Oaklanders from displacement; Preserve the existing affordable housing stock; and Produce new, deeply affordable housing units. In service of meeting the goal of producing new units, Oakland is preparing to disposition surplus vacant lots with the goal to lease or sell for development of new affordable housing. The services requested are to repair the damaged fencing to secure the lots and prevent unauthorized access. The award resulting from this RFQ will be for a two-year (2) period with one (1) one-year option. The City of Oakland invites your firm to submit a bid to fully provide the goods and or services described herein.
