The proposed work consists, in general, consists of applying a chemical root control agent (root foam) to sanitary sewer pipelines ranging in size from 6” diameter to 16” diameter located within the City streets and backyard easements. This contract is for a total of three years. In each year, the work is required to be completed prior to June 30th. For example, in the first year, the work deadline is June 30, 2024; in the second year, the work deadline is June 30, 2025, and so on. The root foaming locations for the first year have been identified in the map provided in Section 5. The Contractor shall commit to deliver minimum of 30 miles, up to 50 miles in FY23-24. Although the exact locations for the second and third years are not yet known, the Contractor shall commit to deliver minimum of 50 miles per fiscal year. The contractor is required to provide contract unit prices in their bid at this time.
