The City of Oakland’s Real Property Asset Management Division provides real estate services to all City departments. This includes the valuation of real property for acquisition, disposition and leasing purposes. Through this RFP the Division seeks licensed appraisers and appraisal firms to provide valuation services for all property types through on-call contracts with the City of Oakland. The Division anticipates entering into professional service agreements with multiple appraisers and appraisal firms, each of which may have differing specialties. Once under contract the appraisers and appraisal firms would then have the opportunity to informally bid on individual appraisal assignments on an as-needed basis over the course of the contract term.
