The City of Oakland's Fire Department invites your firm to submit a bid to provide Wood Ladder testing that meets the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1932 standard recommendation that all ground ladders go through an annual service test and inspection. This test is designed to assess the overall reliability of each ground ladder. The resulting contract will be for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) additional years at the sole discretion of the city. The contact value is estimated to be $33,333.33 annually including any optional years if exercised. The City of Oakland makes no guarantee as to the dollar value of orders to be authorized pursuant to the award of a contract. This Request for Quotation and any subsequent contract award will be in strict accordance with the documents identified below: Offeror should check and be sure that they have received all documents and should follow the instructions contained within this RFQ when preparing their bid.
