PRE-QUALIFICATION For Mandatory Preferred Small Local Business (MPSLB) Program ON-CALL GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES: The City of Oakland (City) seeks Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from all Oakland Certified Small or Very Small Local Business Enterprise licensed contractors interested in providing on-call general construction services for capital improvements to its facilities within the City’s right-of-way and or in backyard/side-yard easements. The City will establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors possessing various licenses. The license types sought by this RFQ include, but may not be limited to: A, B, and all C Type As specific projects arise, bids will be solicited from the contractor pool with the appropriate license. Potential projects involve parks and athletic fields; recreation centers; libraries; administration buildings; sidewalks and curb ramps; creeks and waterways; small and large full trash capture devices in the storm drainage system, green stormwater infrastructure, stormwater drainage infrastructure, and other associated work.
